Whether by accident or design you have found your way to my website - welcome!
I started developing my website using Sandvox (Karelia Software - sadly no longer in business) in the early 2000s, principally as a sort of journal cum catalogue of interests, following my retirement and return to the UK from Hong Kong. It grew and expanded in scope, but its development stalled with the demise of Karelia Software because Sandvox was no longer being updated for the newer versions of the MacOS.
In 2025 I decided to take the plunge and start developing a new website on a different platform. This proved to be beyond my capabilities and both time-consuming and labour-intensive for the first company I employed to undertake the project. The breakthrough came in 2026 with the assistance of my grandson’s step-father, Rob Marsh of Sherpa Consultants, when he introduced me to Anthropic’s Claude and his LLMs. With Claude’s help the basic outline and content of this website was put together in a matter of days, so that I can now modify, expand and edit the pages and galleries to my heart’s content.
